Liquor worth 1.86 crore seized in Saurashtra, south Gujaraticon

RAJKOT/VADODARA/SURAT: Cracking down on alcohol deluge in front of get together surveys, police seized Indian made remote alcohol (IMFL) worth Rs 1.86 crore in Saurashtra and south Gujarat on Thursday.

The alcohol dispatches were seized close Khambhaliya town of DevbhoomiDwarka locale, Karjan close Vadodara, Ankleshwar and on the interstate close Surat.

Upwards of 19 individuals were captured, 14 in Karjan alone, and booked under restriction law.

Following up on a tip-off, Khambhaliya police in DevbhoomiDwarka region captured at truck with Haryana enlistment on the edges of the town. Upwards of 20,124 containers of IMFL were stuffed in the truck. D V Gohel, police sub investigator, said they captured the driver Jitendra Rajput and his right hand ManjitsinhJat, the two inhabitants of Haryana.
